Privacy Notice

This notice explains what Oregon County Inmate Population collects when people use the site, submit a message, click an outside link, or run a sponsored search. By continuing to use the site, you accept the collection, use, and sharing practices described here.

Information You Enter

Search Terms

When you type a name, location, or other search detail into a sponsored search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Oregon County Inmate Population does not keep its own separate log of those search terms.

Messages

If you send an email or use a contact form connected to this site, the message and reply information may be kept long enough to respond, manage the request, and maintain basic business records. Contact messages are not shared outside the organization unless a legal requirement, court order, or similar valid process requires it.

Information Collected Automatically

Normal web server, analytics, advertising, and security tools may collect technical details when a page loads.

  • Internet Protocol address.
  • Browser type, browser version, and language settings.
  • Device category, screen information, and operating system.
  • Pages viewed and approximate time spent on those pages.
  • Referring page or website, when that data is available.
  • Date, time, and similar request timestamps.

Cookies

Cookies and similar browser storage may be used to measure site use, support advertising, remember basic settings, and diagnose technical issues. You can block or delete cookies through your browser, although some pages, ads, or partner search features may behave differently if cookies are disabled.

How Information Is Used

  • To keep pages available, usable, and reasonably fast.
  • To pass search requests to the partner service selected by the visitor.
  • To understand which Oregon County jail, court, and facility pages visitors use most.
  • To find broken links, technical errors, abuse, and security issues.
  • To display advertising that may be based on general interests or prior browsing activity.

Outside Websites

This site links to official jail, sheriff, police, court, corrections, federal locator, Missouri Sunshine Law, and third-party search resources. After you click to another website, that site's privacy notice and terms govern what happens there.

Advertising partners and sponsored search providers may use their own cookies, pixels, or tracking tools across different websites. Those systems are controlled by the partner, not by Oregon County Inmate Population.

Who May Receive Information

Personal information is not sold as a standalone customer list. It may be available to limited parties that help operate or protect the site.

  • Search partners that process sponsored search queries.
  • Analytics vendors that measure traffic and performance.
  • Advertising networks and ad technology providers.
  • Law enforcement, courts, regulators, or government bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure.

Security Practices

Reasonable security practices are used to limit unauthorized access, misuse, and loss. No internet-connected website, email system, analytics platform, or partner search tool can be promised as completely secure, so this notice does not make a breach-proof guarantee.

Visitors Under 18

This site is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted personal information, a parent or guardian may request deletion.

Your Choices

  • Ask for a copy of personal information this site has kept about you.
  • Ask that inaccurate contact information be corrected.
  • Request deletion of information that no longer needs to be retained.
  • Opt out of certain processing when applicable law gives that right.

Changes to This Notice

This privacy notice may be revised as site features, advertising relationships, legal requirements, or partner tools change. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised effective version.
